Nope! Sorry, I realize that there are some people on the net who are really themselves, but there are many people, who take on a different persona when they get online! They can do this because no one knows any differently! So no, I wouldn't say that they are much more honest than friends in real life. However, I also have to say that on the net, you don't know a person personally, so like on yahoo answers, I am able to be more straight forward with advice than I would be to my best friend! I don't like hurting anyone's feelings, but it's harder not to do that when you are looking them face to face!
In a way, I guess you're right, you can be more honest on here, straight forward anyway! But there are always those people on here that you can't trust, who aren't who they say they are!

YES! I feel like I can be myself here. My husband ignores us and this is where I feel like I belong at times.

i don't have friends on the net honestly. but no if i did i would think that my real friends would be more honest.
