no, because often i will have another appointment or other obligation, & i shower almost immediately after tanning in order to get ready for wherever else i`m going...if u use a bronzing lotion, then i would say wait a couple of hours just so the lotion is properly absorbed into your skin & "sets", but other than that, i think u can shower whenever u want afterwards...just be sure to always exfoliate & moisturize to keep your color looking nice..happy tanning!!!

It depends which lotion you use. If you use a bronzer, you don't want to shower right away. But you should shower before you go out or go to bed. Lotions with bronzers tend to have an odor. If you use a lotion that is not a bronzer than have at it and shower whenever you like. And remember to keep the shower warm not hot when your tanning.

Hopefully you're using lotion that's made JUST for tanning in a tanning bed. And it's recommended that you wash it off within the day at least. The oil clogs your pores, not letting your skin breathe. You'll notice that you feel hotter or start to sweat. Also you probably smell like a tanning bed, which stinks!! So you should wash it off ASAP, but if you don't, it's your own discomfort.

you should wait because your skin is still adjusting to the tan after you get out of the tanning booth. I have went to the tanning booth once when I was a child, but I havn't since then. I would take a shower before I went to the tanning booth, and if you plan to take a shower after, give yourself atleast 1 to 2 hours to let your body adjust to getting out of the tanning booth. You should be good to go after that point.

just like has been said, if you use an bronzer, wait for a while... if it is just a moisturizer, go ahead... the lotions that you buy at the tanning salon have instructions on the bottle, and the people at the counter should be able to tell you which ones are which...

Most of them have bronzers that deepen after you tan. So I wash my face but wait a few hours before showering.

No, shower whenever you like. Always moisturize after tanning, whether or not you are showering immediately after.
