Humans DID go to the moon. It is an indisputable scientific fact. If you believe we didn´t you´re just supporting my credo that "Belief is an excuse the weak minded resort to when they don´t feel like thinking".

Next year (if all goes according to plan) NASA will be launching the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter which will search the Moon for future landing sites and possible a site for building a lunar base. This satellite will also be capable of imaging the six landing sites from previous Moon missions, something that hasn't been done since the 1970s when we stopped going to the Moon.

Some of the space missions left special reflectors on the moon, so any scientist with access to the equipment can bounce lasers off the moon and confirm that stuff from the earth has been sent there. This doesn't prove that people have been there, but there is no convincing proof that they haven't.

We definately went to the moon. Think about it. If reporters could bring down Richard Nixon don't you think they would have been able to prove we had a fake space program?

No I have met several astronauts, toured Kennedy Space Station--there is no way that the moon landing was faked--but then some people still beleive the Earth is flat.

To the person who wonder who filmed Neil Armstrong, why do you seem to think a camera requires a person to be standing behind it to operate? It was automatically deployed to swing out of a compartment in the side of the LM to point at the ladder, then switched on from inside the LM.

I'm old enough to say we (America) did go to the moon. There is no political gain to spend billions of dollars to go back, now. The cold war is over, America has nothing to prove.

The guys spouting we didn't are out to make a buck with documentaries or books.

The fact is we went to the moon, no matter how shallow, thick and slow you may be in your belief that we did not go, the fact remains the same, we went to the moon.

Nobody went to the moon, it is a sad fact. They said the first guys that went there left a bunch of stuff, custom made cameras, and equipment - the salvage value of that stuff, if recovered, would easily pay for a trip, so why hasn't anyone done it - they did the same with the Titanic, because the Titanic really happened
