~Deja vu, feeling as if you've experienced this moment already.
~Yes, I have experienced it. Quite often!
~I think it means that I dreampt a moment in time long ago and when I'm in the Deja Vu moment, it was simply that my brain already knew this was going to happen because I forsaw it in a dream.
~To me it means that we are all a little clairvoyant. In one way or another without realizing it.
~There is no one explination for this. Let alone one Scientific explination.
I actually really like what you've been told. It seems pretty close to my idea of Deja Vu.
But then my answer would sound ridiculous, wouldn't it?

Now, I wish I could offer you more scientific information than this, but I'm sure you can find the original source if you really want to, and see if you think it makes sense.
Time can be represented with some degree of accuracy as a series of concentric circles with a straight line running through the centre.
We feel deja vu when something has happened on the next ring of the concentric circle to the spot where we are now.
It's an intuitive understanding. Wish I could be more helpful. The person who mentioned about the two halves of the brain being a nanosecond out of synch sounded interesting, but the deja vu experiences I have feel as though there is quite a lot of linear time between them. Good luck.

"Déjà vu" is French for "already seen", also called "paramnesia". It means that it feels like you've experienced or witnessed that same exact thing already before. It has also been described as "remembering the future". It is very common as well.
Yes, I have experienced it before.
I think the scientific explanation of it is that something occurs in your dream, but not too sure about that part. If you want more info on it, then follow the link below.

Actually that's kind of a neat thought and I'm sure no more ridiculous than what anyone else might think. I've often wondered if our brains work on a loop and that a glitch in the loop makes us feel as though we have been there before. Although they often feel like small glimpses into the future, is it that or that we repeat patterns so frequently that once in a while one just pops out and feels different. I don't know...any scientists??

It is the familiar sensation of having lived an instant before.
A teacher of mine explained it in purely physiological terms, of one part of the brain being out of synch by a nanosecond running with another part of the brain, so you are actually experiencing a given instant with a copy of the instant piggybacked on top of itself on a slight delay.
I like this explanation, but do not know whether it's so or not, of course.

1. having previously experienced something actually being encountered for the first time.
2. yes all the time
3. sometimes, its usually that you have seen or heard it before, like it was supposed to happen.
4. not sure about the scientific explanation
I agree with it because I get it ALL the time. (among "other" things)

Haven't you asked this question before?
But seriously, I believe its because one side of your brain is quicker than the other. Thus the memory in one part of the brain took in the 'info' a second earlier.

deja vu means that if in your dream you saw a purple dog with black stripes sitting bye your bed, and you woke up to find the dog bye your bed again, you'd cry "i have deja vu!" basically, it means you've seen/heard of something before
