There are a number of differences.
1. Male jeans are roomier at the crutch while female jeans are cut tighter.
2. Many female jeans are "hipsters" while male jeans are usually higher up, over the hips.
3. Females have larger bottoms and their jeans are cut to accommodate this while the male jeans have less of a bottom.
4. Female jeans are often tighter along the legs while male jeans are usually more loose.
5. Some female jeans, a very small number of styles, have elastic in the sides to accommodate the swelling belly of a pregnant female.

their jeans are also cut slimmer and straighter in the hips..but fuller in the thighs and calves.
