Why are you asking this question? You don't want an actual answer. You're just trying to get people riled up. Get a life.
And also, why are there people in the science section if they don't believe in all the evidence staring them in the face supporting evolution? Now those are some good questions.
Also, how do you know Jesus didn't talk about evolution? Not everything He did made it into the Bible, you know. Considering the New Testament wasn't written till at least a couple hundred years after His death, by people who vaguely knew people who vaguely knew HIm and passed on the stories, then decided to jazz it up a little to make it publishable.
Besides, what's your alternative theory that unites everything so beautifully? Genesis is a myth like every other creation myth: it's a myth told by people early on to explain things they didn't have the technology to explain yet. I personally favor the myth that a goddess cried, her tear became an island, and presto, here's the world. It has more bang to it than Genesis. Science is allowed to come and replace these myths with fast. You don't still believe that earthquakes are Hephestus working in his shop, right? So why not open your mind, and give evolution a chance.

Perhaps because he was not an Archeologist. There is more evidence for evolution. Religion is belief, science is based on known facts. Let's deal with the facts. Evolution could, in some way, be a part of god's overall plan and will. Some people confuse their own narrow and literal interpretation of the bible with hard evidence and the real search for truth. Evolution is also a miracle. We don't understand everything, but let's try to understand! The only valid tool we have to do this is science!
I guess the real question is why do intelligent people give control of their lives to other people like self richeous individuals who make heaps of money by saying their followers are the only people who are going to be saved. Save yourself!

You are in the wrong place. Evolution is one of our most strongly-supported scientific theories, while religion is not even a theory, because there is no scientific evidence at all for any religion. It is the tale of Jesus that is baseless, not evolution. He may not have existed, because he is mentioned only in the Bible that has much fantasy and by Jews who copy the Bible. There is more proof of Julius Caesar's existence, for he is mentioned by many nations.

he didn't recommend a lot of things and besides, he was focusing on the more important issues of the time. i think he had enough on his plate without trying to explain natural selection and molecular biology.
and eh where do you get the impression that its a baseless theory?
it has incredible foundation in both conceptual and evidential bases.
im not going to get into this argument. just do a little research on the matter and you will find it makes since, even if you think its a load of blasphemous gibberish
i have read both evolution texts and creationism texts.
evolution can be proved to be true, is regarded as how it has come to be and it makes most sense.

I don't know what you are talking about but evolution is so far the best supported theory of the origin of many species. Countless fossil evidence as well as modern record of the fast mutation of some species all support evolution.
The only thing supports the theory of Jesus is the bible, which is by no means a piece of factual evidence but opinions.

Where is your evidence that someone named Jesus Christ ever lived in the first place? Outside of the bible which was written 100 or so years after he supposedly died.

What did Jesus have to say about gravitation, atomic theory, relativity, quantum mechanics, plate tectonics, paleontology, bacteriology, virology, thermodynamics, electronics, nuclear physics, and other equally "base-less theories"?
Or for that matter, what did Jesus say about auto mechanics, pastry cooking, horticulture, bike maintenance, Perl programming, or how to use an iPod or TiVo?
Sheesh.

1. Maybe it wasn't relevant to His message.
2. Being omniscient, maybe He knew that people weren't ready to understand it when he walked the Earth.
3. Maybe He did mention it, but He was surrounded by pathetic, close minded people who refused to entertain the idea, much less accept it.
4. Maybe if you tried being a liberal (like Christ Himself was) instead of a conservative (like those who opposed Him and His message, and later nailed Him to two pieces of wood), you would be able to see the parts of the world beyond the end of your nose.

Christianity is baseless or evolution is baseless? Christianity isn't base-less.... it's common sense and supported very easily with LOGIC.
BTW:
