No, that should have been done last election, it is up to congress now and the democrats don't have enough votes yet. Remember repuglicans put what is good for the party way ahead of what is good for the country. .

The general answer to your question is yes. The specific answer is no. Dislike of the president or his policies is not a valid reason for impeachment. If anyone can provide direct evidence which fits the standard for the impeachment set down in the Constitution then the specific answer could change. To date no one has provided this evidence. I know it makes people who don't like Mr. Bush happy to think about the possibilities, but to bring impeachment which has no chance of succeeding and no underlying supportive evidence would just be another abuse of government power. Additionally it sets a dangerous precedent which will effect all future presidents.

Impeachment process is a painstaking waste of taxpayer dollars.
By the time it was complete, Bush would be out anyways. Don't think impeaching involves a few months.

No. Unlike Bill Clinton who perjured himself under oath, you cannot impeach a president because you do not like his decisions. You cannot do it because of the record low interest rates. You cannot do it because of the better than 94% employment we have. You cannot do it because more people can now afford homes than ever before. And most of all you cannot do it because of a war the Democrats in Congress all voted for. No matter what lies CNN tells you.

We can impeach him for and conviction of treason, bribery or other high crimes and misdemeanors as mentioned by the constitution. I wish we had some actual proof handed our way. Politicians seem to get away with so much.

signing laws into action that allow the NSA to wiretap your phones and emails is contradictory to the 1st amendment and the basic principles of freedom that this country was founded on. excercising wiretaping without warrants does not protect, defend OR serve the constitution (presidential oath of office). when you break an oath, its called perjury, an impeachable offense
this is one of many examples where the president could be impeach

NO....you can't impeach anyone because you are unhappy with them, he has to commit a crime, break a law etc. If he had done anything to warrant impeachment the Dems would already be all over it......they no their is nothing.

No, that is reserved for the congress. Besides, there are not any high crimes that President Bush has committed. Give it a rest!

We could, but what would we gain? I think the Congress is pursuing the correct path - they are slowly taking back the power given to/assumed by the President after the 9/11 attacks.
