Can anyone please throw light on how to take care of ones mouth so that it doesn't smell bad. I dont have bad breath and neither do I smoke but when I sneeze, the area surrounding me becomes full of bad odour. I fear if I kiss a girl she may sense that odour. Please let me know the steps tht one must take as far as mouth hygiene is concerned so that one must not face any problem during kissing.

Brush your teeth well, and then use toothpaste and clean your tongue, too. Don't eat garlic or onions before a date.

But actually most bad smell you notice after a sneeze does not originate in the mouth. The air picks up the bad smell lower down in the respiratory tract. So it may be a sign of infection someplace.

The easiest way to get rid of any personal odors is to buy some chlorophyll tablets at a health food store. You can even get chewable ones especially for mouth odors. Chlorophyll is just the green coloring from vegetables, so it's 100% safe, in any dose, and it will not turn your skin green. Try it--there is no downside. (But you still need to brush your teeth!)

Hi there. Good oral hygiene is essential for good health also as studies show that dental bacteria can travel in the blood stream causing heart damage that can show up later. Brush your teeth twice a day for 2 minutes a session. Floss once a day. Most bad breath is caused by bacteria on the tongue. So, a tongue scraper used once or twice a day is essential to combat bad breath. Mouth rinses like Listerine do kill germs and help decrease germs that can lead to gingivitis, periodontal disease and tooth loss. Avoid mints with sugar that can lead to tooth decay. Check the mucus produced by your sneezes. If it is yellow or greenish in color, you may have a sinus infection which is the cause of the odor. Have a great week and happy smooching.
