That some men have no manners, and think they can say whatever they like to a woman?.... makes me wonder if they speak to their mothers the sam way?..... what makes a man so rude sometimes?.... is it insecurity or what?

Rebellion, I'm not sure what actually happened but guess it was someone on this site. They are the people with the problem, not you. Don't make it your problem. Also, I fear that hitting the abuse button has the opposite effect, it may attract abuse. Just shut them out.

That's life, there's respectful and disrespectful men and women, and yes, anybody can say anything they want to, toward anybody they want, but there are repercussions for disrespect, and yes I'm sure that disrespectful men and women express disrespect toward their own parents... and nothing in particular makes anybody rude, rudeness could be misconstrued for bad humor, or often it's a release of bottled up frustration... and yes in some cases it's insecurity, or bottled up anger, or a cry for help, one things for sure, humans are very complex creatures, and it's often difficult to comprehend precisely what certain people are attempting to express, so we bear with it and do the best we can...

Alot of men were raised with the beliefs that women are their slaves....at least MOST of the men I have encountered in my life...they were raised with Mommy doing everything....My Ex Husband was like this....it took me FOREVER to make realize you catch more butterflies with honey then with vinegar.....& yes...he did talk to his Mother the way he talked to me....there was ALOT of arguing on that side of the Family...
As for my relationship now...My BF is very considerate of my feelngs & those aroudn him...he will do what it takes to make & keep me happy...
I know alot of it is insecurity as well....they are like women too...they have a complex about the way they look or things like that...

Its just some men who are like that. My father would never dream of being nasty to a woman. Some are nasty, cause it makes them feel empowered to put some-one else down and hurt their feelings. Unfortunately there are just as many women who do the same thing.

I heard that if a man is good to his mother, then he'll be good to his wife. But, you are correct. Some men think they're better then others, especially women.
We have Rico, on Y!A that is EXTREMELY rude to fat women, and someone said he was only 13.

they all think its part of being a 'man' they are just being jerks and you cant even blame their mothers for not raising them without manners, some of the mothers do their best but some men are just pigs

i think its just them being rude or they didnt have moms that taught them manners....but you know what its not all men i know some that are the sweetest things but one bad apple spoils the whole lot!

It works both ways my dear. I've met many extremly rude and self-centred ladies in my time.
The simple answer is my definition of a lady
