Hi,

I am sorry to tell you this but hummingbirds are only found in the western hemisphere. They range from South America to Canada and Alaska.

Believe it or not there are more hummingbirds in Alaska (during the summer anyways! ). Hummingbirds are only found in the Americas. The closest thing in Japan would be the hummingbird moths.

One would think so... Hummingbirds live in warm climates but they do migrate to temperate zones. I've seen them all over Northern Ontario, Canada in mid-summer...

yes there are. Small ones. Almost the size of a large wasp and are often mistaken for them. They are a very dark emerald green. Cute if you can see them up close.
