You cant judge anyone on just their sun sign, it all goes so much deeper than that

To get a true picture of your relationship you should get a compatibility chart done, with exact times, dates and places of birth

Beyond Star Signs is a world of Astrology where every aspect of a Horoscope (Birth Chart) has meaning.

IN GENERAL (without your birth details)

Cancer and Aquarius

When Cancer and Aquarius come together, it can be a case of attraction between two opposite ends of the spectrum. Cancer has an emotional approach to life. Aquarius has an offbeat, unconventional approach to nearly every situation. While Cancer may retreat into its shell, Aquarius is the gregarious host amongst friends and excels in social situations. If these two can learn to combine their qualities in a positive way, they can go anywhere together.

Both Cancer and Aquarius can be ambitious and determined. They like to do things their way and don't like to encounter resistance. Cancer appreciates tradition, routine and exhibits conservative morals. Aquarius is modern and is be numbed by routine, the dull and the boring. Cancer will find Aquarius exciting yet may feel frustrated trying to penetrate this revolutionary's mind. Aquarius will not appreciate the possessiveness of a pinching Crab but will find the solid base that Cancer can provide to be a great support, although will probably not admit to it!

Cancer is ruled by the Moon, and Aquarius is ruled by Saturn and Uranus. The Moon is a radiant, feminine energy and Saturn is a cool, contained masculine energy. Uranus is about all things abnormal and novel. The Moon is emotional; concerned with growth and domesticity, both of which are important to Cancer. Saturn is about hard work and discipline to achieve goals while Uranus symbolizes forward thought. Cancer will teach Aquarius about a life based on emotional impulses and their feminine influence will bring beauty and comfort into the home. Aquarius can teach Cancer to be more detached, to extricate themselves from uncontrollable situations and to reevaluate goals if they are off course.

Cancer is a Water Sign and Aquarius is an Air Sign. Aquarius moves through life with pure intellectual exploration, while Cancer is more pragmatic. Cancer asks, Ohow does this feel?O while Aquarians simply focus on their interests and ask Owhat else.O These partners may find it difficult to understand the other's origin of thought. Conflicts can arise in this relationship if Cancer is too demanding or if Aquarius seems too cool and denies Cancer emotional reassurance. Both partners need to learn that they view the world in different ways and they should celebrate differences rather than feeling threatened.

Cancer is a Cardinal Sign and Aquarius is a Fixed Sign. Both partners tend to persevere when working toward their goals. If they have a set path, they'll follow it to the end. Once they have made up their minds that the relationship is a worthy one, they will never be dissuaded from that knowledge and will constantly think of each other. But if they have differing ideas, they may find that the Cancer is the more tenacious, more dogmatic partner who is not beyond emotional manipulation of their loved one. Aquarius may see Cancer as being too feeling oriented. If they understand they're working together for a common goal, it's much easier for them to get along.

The best aspect of the Cancer-Aquarius relationship is that when they decide to come together they are an indomitable force. Once the pair can work out their differences, come together and agree on the inner workings of the partnership, the dynamics of this relationship can be a good balance.

Well, I agree with Gigi as I too am a crabby cancer. We tend to have mood swings a little but as she says it goes much deeper go to Barnes and Noble they have an astrology section and read about other planetary influences and as Gigi said get a birth chart done. Read about your other signs for example you can be a cancer as a sun sign with your moon sign in taurus. Your sun sign which is what you normally look up with your horoscope is said to rule your individuality while your moon sign rules your personality. So much goes into it more than the general horoscopes will give you. Like I find I am much more like my moon sign or other planetary signs that I am my sun sign sometimes so it all depends. Check out the website below for moon sign compatability and try Linda Goodmans books or do a web search on her.

Cancer With Aquarius:
The social side of the Aquarian may prove to be just a tad bit too much for the home minded reclusive Cancer. Aquarian's love to share their life stories with the world while cancer is satisfied with keeping their adventures to themselves. Cancer people have a conservative taste; Aquarius's tastes are usually the opposite. The odds against this combination are not too bad and this combination could work, but one will have to become at least somewhat subservient to the other, deciding which would be fun to watch! Aquarius has a need to be independent and often appears detached in a close relationship and will appear more so to cancer. Don't get me wrong, Aquarian's need to be loved too, they just exhibit more of a "unseen" love than outward displays.

Love & Blessings
