Can anyone tell me what approx. will be the cost of upgrading my small business LAN Cable Network of 15 PCs to WIFI Network.

You would need a router (about £40) and 15 Wifi adapters (about £10 each), so about £200 (not counting the cost of man hours).

However, Wifi is slower then wired, is subject to interference, and is far less secure (since people can crack the encryption while standing OUTSIDE the building), so it isn't much of an upgrade. I would avoid it unless you have lots of laptops that move around a lot.

NOOOOOO! lv is so right on the money, thats a downgrade, even if you went with the faster 802.11n your business is going to be crippled as far as bandwidth is concerned....if thats not enough for you to ponder, imagine a mad employee giving access to someone who could attack your entire network from the parking lot......Wireless networks are susceptible to a man in the middle attack even without someone giving out a network pass phrase......

going from Ethernet to Wi-Fi is a downgrade...15 Wi-Fi enabled PC's in a close proximity, that network is going to crawl....
