IIT Mumbai has launched "Mumbai Navigator" for people to find out, how to reach from one place to another. The navigator is available on http://www.cse.iitb.ac.in/navigator/index.html

Just visit the site and find out how many types of routes are available from your present location to the desired destination, and how much time each route takes. It also gives information about how to take one mode of transport first, where to get down, the distance one needs to cover on foot and where, which mode of transport to take next and where to get down again. Hope u will find the link very useful. Have a go at it.

If you are travelling by train : take a train from Dadar to Kurla, then switchover to harbour trains. Take a train to Vashi. And without any worries about distances you will reach Vashi.

You can take a bus from Dadar- Asiad depot. Take Panvel buses whose frequency is about 20 minutes. They will drop you at Vashi straight away.

Happy travelling.
