All depends on what state and the city you live in. Could range anywhere from $40.-$500. Check this link for some red light camera info: http://www.highwayrobbery.net/redlightcamslinksref.htm#FAQ

The red light means stop, not drive slowly through because you can see it is safe to do so. Even though the right turn is legal, it is only legal if you come to a complete stop before you make the turn. You can argue all you want that you were safe, it won't matter. If you didn't stop completely, you're toast. I can sympathize with you to a degree. The red light cameras give no warnings. A live cop can make an assessment and give a warning based on the severity of the infraction. That's why I don't like the cameras. The only thing to do when you get one of these tickets is to go talk to the judge and see if you can get a reduced fine.
