Ok, so I was really tired tonight and really got my days screwed up. I thought it was Saturday, and I realized I was a few hours late in taking my pill, so I went to take it.
However, I noticed that Friday's pill was still there.
So, because I thought I had my day screwed up, I thought I had missed Friday's pill AND that I was late in taking my Saturday pill. But actually, it is Friday, and I was just late in taking that pill, which really wouldn't have been a problem.
But since I was so confused, I just took the two of them (Friday and Saturday) at the same time.

Are there any problems with this?
(They were also the last two pills in my pack, and now I don't have one to take for Saturday because I've already taken it.)
Is this going to affect my period which is supposed to start on Sunday?

I know this is somewhat confusing, but I hope someone understands it.

taking 2 pills at once like that isn't going to hurt you or anything like that. so no worries there. your period might come a bit earlier, that's all. just start your next pack when you are supposed to.

i have been taking pills for many years now and taking two pills shouldn't hurt you. You may experience symptoms from having double the hormones at once, but in my experience, these are mild. Your period shouldn't be messed up, it may come a day earlier. Also, start taking the next pack on the day you were supposed to.
If you are sexually active, you do need to have a back up contraception plan- a condom will work..
all of this information is in the leaflet that comes with your pills, I know it is a lot of info in small print, but it helped me immensely when I started the pill, because i didn't have internet WAY BACK then!!
Good luck in the future and remember, if you are sexually active, you should always use a condom, because the pill only prevents pregnancy- not sexually transmitted diseases... :)

Okay, I understand what happened. Is this going to have an effect on your period? Probably not. You should get your period any time during your placebo week like usual. What it may effect is your protection against pregnancy. You should use a back up method like latex condoms until you have taken at least 7 active pills (for the next 2 weeks). If you had barrier free sex today, you should be fine, but you can take emergency contraceptives aka Plan B to be safe. Birth control and emergency contraceptives do not cause abortions or harm early pregnancy. Continue to take your pills as normal if and until you find out you are pregnant.

I was a pharmacy tech for 4 years and got this question daily. According to every pharmacist I ever heard answer this question, you should not be worried if you missed a dose, and took a double dose late the next day. If you have been taking the pill for a least a couple months, you should be fine, especially since this is the end of your pack. Your period might be a little off, but nothing drastic.

What kind of pill is it?

Were those two pills the placebo/sugar pills (versus the white hormonal pills)?

If so I would not worry about it, and start taking your new pack on Sunday like you normally would.

This won't affect anything being that they are your last two pills. You can relax... all is well. Start your next pack when you are supposed to start them again.

Don't take two pills together. It's twice the hormones which will screw up your system temporarily.

If you think you've skipped a pill, take it as soon as you remember (within 12 hours- after that it's useless anyway) and continue as normal.
