Bush Volunteered to go the Viet Nam. YES it is true it is in his service record!!!!! The type of plane he flew in the National Guard was old, was being retired and could not be used against more modern MIGs. At the time he would have been required to re-train in a more modern jet and a new commitment (and contract) of 6 to 8 years of military service required. This is still done today, and some pilots choose to leave rather than make the military their career.
Big surprise you have not heard this in the main stream media, it is populated by biased Bush haters just like you!
By the way, what have you volunteered for to serve this country or your fellow man??????? My belief is - nothing you hypocritical jerk. Bet you don't even have the guts to join the Girl scouts much less the military or even the Peace Corps!
