Because if we die first... We would be walking around greeting each other with "Na-noo Na-noo"...
Or did you mean that in the sense of "Why do we stop looking for something once we find it?" type of question?
Well I guess part of the reason is our bodies exhaust themselves to the point they can't go on any more.
What would be the fun in living forever anyways? Life would lose all meaning if we didn't die.
How could you truly appreciate your loved ones if they lived for ever?
How could the world sustain life if no one died?
That is why we die at the end.

Life without end wouldn't be the same as life as we know it. I can't explain it well but life needs a beginning, a middle and an end or it's just a constant state like the ocean that has tides and currents but isn't really alive.

Everything is "used up" in life. There's no denying it, and it's in every aspect of nature if you noticed. Even plastics degrade overtime and "die." It's a matter of subjective view on the, well, subject. The underlying factor that separates us is the tangibility of the human body in comparison with something inanimate.

Everything's burning up...like, you need new food everyday to sustain your self, but thats why life's cool, its a rollercoaster. Its quite easy to fall off. So have fun staying on. Simple as that. Death should not be a taboo, we would actually enjoy life for a change...if we could talk about it.
Realise we're very temporary, so perhaps we have no identity of our own, we're just another expression of all we see in the universe.
Perhaps we'd spend 80yrs relaxing and enjoying the ride instead ofhaving taboos, worrying all the time, killing ourselves at work. C'mon, we're (humans) better than that...

If everything starts living continuously, there won't be any space even to breath, leave alone staying. It is an intelligent design of creator, who has created nice ecological cycle to sustain everything and annihilate when the process ends.

Because organic matter is not capable of sustaining itself indefinitely. Also, if living things never died, then overpopulation would be eminent. Simply put, death is natures way of dealing with population control.

It is the law of nature. Anything is created (birth) will have an end (death). Your problem is created and will have an end when you have a solution or when you died. Nothing escape this law.

When we see someone die on this side it's because they are arriving on the other side.
Death is seperation from seperation.
Death will have no sting....
"Because of the power of the resurrection"
HAPPY EASTER!
