All electromagnetic waves irrespective of their nature travel with the VELOCITY OF LIGHT in vaccum.The fundamental equation for this question is velocity= (frequency)(wavelength).When an em wave passes from one medium to another wavelength and velocity changes but frequency doesn't.So frequency is the fundamental characteristic of all waves whether transverse or longitudinal.

All EM radiation travels at the speed of light or near enough to it. As it turns out, what is thought of as "light" is actually a propagating oscillatory disturbance in the electromagnetic field, i.e., an electromagnetic wave. Different frequencies of oscillation give rise to the different forms of electromagnetic radiation, from radio waves at the lowest frequencies, to visible light at intermediate frequencies, to gamma rays at the highest frequencies. The Wavelength size is not to be confused with the propagation speed of the wave!

Distinctions between each gradation of wave in the electromagnetic (EM) spectrum are not based on velocity... they are based on wavelength and frequency, and each has an associated energy level based on a specific equation (and various representations thereof). Visible light has a frequency of roughly 10^15 Hz and a wavelength of roughly 400-700 nanometers (nm).

In a vacuum all the same; 300 000 000 metres/second. They all travel at different speeds in other media.

The Speed of light which in vacuum is 300000 km/s.
