I totally agree with runs. I don't see why you cannot be open with your husband about such an important decision. If you cannot discuss issues like these, how will you raise children together?
I think you should seek help. Your husband sounds as though he is controlling you to a point where you now don't even have control over your own body and the decisions you make with it and your life. Get on some type of birth control as soon as possible, the least thing you want to have a child with someone who is possesive.
God bless you.
One more thing, about birth control, especially if hormonal, many women have reactions such as weight gain, vomiting, upset stomachs, sore breast, etc. What will you do then? What will you tell him? I suggest you try a none hormonal birth control like spermicide.

The decision about whether to have sex is a very important one and can often be quite difficult to make. It may surprise you to know that, when it comes to sex, most teens and parents agree that the first priority for teens is to wait to have sex in order to protect their physical and emotional health. But it is also true that the majority of teens and parents feel that if a young person is going to be sexually active, using contraception — "protection'" — is a must.
Abstinence - When it comes to sex, many teens choose to wait. And some teens who have had sex in the past have decided to wait a while until having sex again. Visit this section for information to help you say "it's okay to delay."
Contraception - Whether you call it contraception, birth control, or protection, it's all the same thing. If you have decided to have sex, you need to know the facts about protecting yourself from pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases. Sex has consequences.

You can take birth control pills. But, you SHOULD tell this to your husband. Don't deceive him.
You will be putting your married life at stake, if you don't tell him.
If you have a valid reason for avoiding pregnancy for next five months, you should convince your husband on this and then both of you should take a conscious decision on birth control. Please understand that, this is very sensitive issue for husband and wife both. Don't deceive anyone on this subject.

Take the birth control pill without him knowing. Its a real small plastic case with all the pills for the month, just keep it in your purse and dont tell him. Then go off of it when your ready.

Get a divorce. If you can't talk to your husband about something as vital as family planning, because he's such an ogre, then imagine the crummy life you're going to have in the future how what kids you do have will suffer at his abuse. Women have to protect themselves from unwanted pregnancy by choosing a man who respects them and their 51% swing vote right to decide whether or not and when or not they want children. This is not a democracy, this is your body and your children, and a child unwanted by its mother is already dead. And like the other lady said, go to your doctor or clinic today and get the depo-provera shot or a prescription for birth control pills. If you can't get him off you then go visit your mother for a few days.
Whoever gave me thumbs down, you're nuts!

You could secretly take the pill, but there's a new rubber ring treated with hormones that you can also try. This is better than an IUD because you can take it out when you want. Of course an injection (see the first answer) is even better because it is completely undetectable.

go to your docs and ask 4 the injection, i think it lasts 4 3 months so u would be keeping urself from getting pregnant without any tablets being in your bag or drawer, what puzzles me though is why u want to do this behind ur mans back, why not just talk 2 him.... good luck
