I have an old computer still running on Windows 98SE, i have this problem , which I have had before, When I try to open Web pages they will not open and the computer says check you Content Advisor setting. When I do they are set to Zero so I can't open web pages. I reset them to Maximum so as to look at any web pages, and then when I try and go on the Web the Content Advisor keeps reseting to Zero. I took this to a computer repair store befor and I think they had to reload the Windows program, which I have at home, Please help anyone as this is driving me "MAD".

Download a later version of web browser, IE6 or Firefox. Enter "Web Browsers" in your search engine and you will get a list of sites from which you can download them. With the earlier versions of IE that come with Win.98 you will get error messages about security certificates and Java script errors. You can have more than one web browser on your computer and there are many to from which to choose.
As to Microsoft not supporting Win98 that just means they no longer produce updates but does not stop you installing later web browsers.
