This is an old problem which has consequences seen in a lot of eras throughout the ages, but I think not a lot of thought put toward it.

anyone held under oppressive circumstances,,,,, most likely will have some anger once they are free,,,,,,(or rage, unless they have mentally blocked the reality),,,,,, they would of not had much outlet for this anger, during the time,,,,,, plus were probably busy just surviving,,,,,, they need to place blame, for something so unjust to of happened,,,,, since most have no opportunity to direct this directly at the ones responsible,,,,, nor at any members of their own group (while many yes were victims,,, some played a role),,nor do they feel comfortable blaming their God,,,,,, they direct it towards another group,,, usually one associated with the perpetrators (no matter how loose of a association)

like many blacks blame whites, for slavery, yet many whites in America nowdays,,,, their ancestors were not even here during slavery times,,,,,,, just like all blacks here in America now, are not descended from slaves

There is no way to guarantee that there won't be a backlash.. I'm the only white person in my Black Studies class this semester and the African Americans in there are still going on about how their people were slaves and how white people should make it up to them still.. Personally, I think that it's terrible what people do to other people.. I don't know how people can physically/emotionally inflict such pain on other human beings and still live with themselves each day.. But that's besides the point.. The answer is that there is no way to stop the backlash of the formerly enslaved.. I guess you just have to free them and hope that they don't come back to kill you!!

You can't free enslaved People, they have to free themselves. Thoughts have been put toward it, it's called, freedom. Free to let go and move on.
