Is it really true that if you pour coke over uncooked porkchops that maggot type things come out?
Is it in all pork chops or a certain brand?
Has anyone here tried it?

You would probably find that in pork chops harvested in organic farms. It used to be vitally important that your pork was cooked thoroughly, because of the worms. After ingested, they move to your eyes, and slowly eat the back of your retina, till you go blind. They also infect the brain. These days, you are much less likely to encounter pork of that nature, because of all the strict rules put forth by various agencies. You can pretty much rest assured knowing that there are no worms in your chops. But I would still cook it thoroughly.

No, it's not true - given the meat is properly stored. Pork and some wild game can have parasites, the worst/most common being: Trichinella spiralis, which gives humans Trichinosis. Never eat pink pork.

in case you circulate away it out and the flies get to it then quickly there will be worms after which you will discover them in the coke. don't have self belief maximum of what you spot and pay attention. pink meat in the previously previous did have an exceedingly undesirable call because of the fact a rull grown hog is a lot too lots for a team of persons to eat in one day and in heat climate without thank you to guard and funky the pink meat then specific it strengthen into risky and killed a brilliant style of persons. it truly is the reason some religions donot eat pink meat. right this moment that's no issue because of the fact generaly people recognize a thank you to guard the beef. poultry could be in basic terms as undesirable yet they're small and persons in common terms kill wht they are going to eat that day. properly that strengthen into in the previously.

I think you are confused. Maggots are fly larva planted as eggs by the adult. They will seek out things like rotting meat, coke or no coke...

doubt it..............but my Mom used to cook prok chops until it was like a chunk of shoe leather, she said it was to insure against any possible worms. I brought a girlfriend over for dinner and Mom cooked pork chops, my girlfriend starts to cut into hers with a knife & fork, she had no experience apparently cutting into shoe leather, and it flew off her plate & onto my Dad's plate, we all had a good laugh, except Mom.
