All men are dogs but I am more of a guard dog than a runner.
I don't need a leash unless something comes around to attack, then no leash will hold me.
I have actually been lucky to own several dogs just like this. I walk them and when others come near they are ready to attack but I hold them to a short leash and they relax. Should the attacker be real it is not the dogs that bite, it is me. Nobody hurts my dogs and they sense that.
I have only had one runner in my care and she eventually ran away. Two hours was too much of a head start. Normally I would just run after her and catch her within an hour or so. But she travelled more than a mile or so by the time I went back for the car and started looking.
Since then the only problem I have had is a digger. All I had to do with her is fill in her holes large as they were.
For the most part the dogs get to run free but not near the streets. I have lost more than one dog to passing cars. Oddly most of them were females. Hmmm.
Enjoy.

It is sooooo funny that you asked this question. I've been walked on a leash. In prison, they walk some inmates on leashes. But the leashes are locked around your waist. And if you go to far, well you can't, because the correction staff is holding the other end. After that I said, "When I get to heaven I'm going to tell Buddha that I don't ever want to be reincarnated as a dog."

I need to be free. But since u said if i were a dog then u mean I don't know so many things, like, not crossing the street when cars are approaching. In that case I want a small leach so that I won't be killed.
