I just boiled 18 eggs for the egg hunt and 3 of them cracked. How many eggs did you hard boil or are you using plastic?

When I boil eggs, I usually don't have any crack. I put a little salt and vinegar and a touch of oil in the pan and that usually takes care of it. I don't know if it is one or a combination that keeps them from cracking.
I live by myself now, so I don't do stuff like that for Easter any more, but I love my boiled eggs. LOL

Plastic for egg hunts. Real ones to eat or for decoration. I use a little egg cooker and put a pin hole in each one and I usually get no cracks. Happy Easter!

We boiled 14 eggs, and only one of them cracked. My aunt had amazing luck, as she boiled 2 dozen and not one of them cracked. =0

I didn't boil any for Easter, but when I boil them they're not completely hard so they don't crack.
