Clearly Ms. Rowell is leaving Y&R. Also, Olivia will be back for the funeral. I hope she is considered dead, but never found. Just in case Ms. Rowell wants to return some time in the distant future. I just can't imagine another actress as Dru.
As for why she wanted out of her contract, it's to focus on her book, which relates to her being growing up in the foster care system. I have also hear that she was disappointed in not being nominated for a daytime Emmy. The whole Carmen Mesta storyline, certainly was one of her strongest.
Love Dru or hate Dru, I think we can all say Victoria Rowell was a great actress on Y&R.

Yeah, Drucilla is really dead because I heard that Victoria Rowell is leaving the show and they showed scenes for the next episodes and Neil is at her grave. I think it's better if they kill off the character Drucilla because I don't think that anyone could replace her on the show. I heard that Victoria is leaving the show because she wanted more money and she was refused and I believe her contract is over too.

I really hope so. I remember when her character first joined the show. She was an illiterate, hood-rat , runaway with a bad attitude. I like the actress that plays her, although I've always felt she could do better than soaps. Hopefully, she'll move on to bigger and brighter opputunities.

the actress did leave the show so as in most soaps it will be up to them whether they recast or if they can convince victoria rowell to come back. in a recent interview she made some comments that made it seem that she was really unhappy with some of the behind the scenes stuff ad i doubt she'll come back any time soon.

Actually I think Drusilla isn't going anywhere. This is just another way of making sure we keep up with the story. Besides shes to good at what she does to be dead.

I think that they are just going to bring someone else in to play her character which is why they haven't found her body yet. She did leave the show but I don't think they are going to kill her character off.

they are considering it a recovery mission now rather than rescue...i know she left the show for what reason i don't know but their probably fix it so her body isn't found in order to bring her back or another actress to play her part.

Because they didn't find the body you never really know in Soaps, but for now they will mourn and say she is.

well i know that they found sharon.....they were still looking for dru.....she might be alive but i think the chances are slim....they were questioning phylis about what happened.
