I am sure there are a few pretty girls left with short hair....sometimes my dates make me feel guilty when they tell me they prefer my long hair over some other girls with short hair.

We associate femininity with long hair. Because most females, traditionally, have long hair. I guess it's as simple as that. Somewhere in the back of our heads, when we see a short-haired girl, we think, "Hmm, isn't that what a guy's head is supposed to look like?"
USUALLY isn't a make or break thing. But you know, us guys are sometimes more shallow than we like to admit.

O.K.........I dont even know what to say to this one! I have long hair...........Very long......and I really dont see what the big deal is, but soem men like short hair just as much as the ones that love long hair! Just because someone has short or long hair does not make them any prettier than anyone else.........So as far as you saying there are SOME pretty girls with short hair, I am sure there are alot of them as well.......Guys dont really care for vain girls either!:)

Hmm... Long hair is just something people seem to prefer. Just like how some girls like some styles more compared to others. It's not that weird, it's normal to prefer looks, colors, and styles.

I've always wondered that myself. I have shoulder length hair. I can't really grow it any longer because it's too thick and gets 'heavy'. I know sounds weird. But when it was down to my butt I'd get migraines from it when I'd put it up.

Cuz no one has really long hair anymore...guys think it's feminine, and they're attracted to that! But you still sound flattered and not genuinely upset that guys are complimenting you on your looks...
Be thankful they compliment you...I've never had any guy say that to me and my hair is long too!
