actually it is very painful but its a pain that has a reward at the end. that s why women keep doin it lol. the whole hospital floor heard me screamin lol. but when you finally hold ur baby in ur arms for the first time you forget about the pain and later say it was worth it. epidurals are nice too lol. i have 5 kids . two natural and 3 epidural. an d actually it feel s like you gotta go #2 out the other side immense feeling of pressure and the pain of ur body havein to stretch to deliver when its time to push. before that pain just starts at ur back an moves around to encompass ur whole belly an tightens for a min or two til next contraction. but they get closer and closer together til they are one on top of the other til you deliver. hope this helps.

It's different for every woman and with every birth. It wasn't near as bad as I thought it would be. As far as what it felt like I honestly don't remember, it's like they say, once the baby is born you forget all about the pain. I do remember some severe cramping like pains though. I'd rather have a baby than a toothache.

really really really bad cramps, but it is a mind over matter thing, i personally didn't think it was as bad as I was expecting, but everybody is different, as you are pushing the baby out, you kind of "forget" about the pain because you are concentrating on getting the baby out

Well..they say if you grab your lower lip and pull it out as far as you can....
Then pull it over your head..it would be close to the feeling...
