Take a hot shower/ or lay a really warm rag on your eyebrows before you pluck them. This makes the pores larger so pulling the hair out will not be as painful.
Also always pull the hair the direction it is growing, dont pull them straight out, pull the way the hair lays.. It helps

ALL good answers so far! As a professional eyebrow plucker, pull the skin tight and pluck out the direction of the hair growth! Can be tricky, some brows grow in different directions! Apply pressure to the areas just plucked, it can ease the pain. Aloe helps too!

Numb the eyebrow area first either with a baby's teething pain preparation or numbing toothache preparation or even a little ice.
The hair can be softened first with a hair conditioner or shaving cream.
Steam your eyebrows with a hot washcloth for five minutes or tweeze right after a hot shower to open the pores so the
hair comes out more easily.
To close the pores of the skin after plucking, use an astringent or soothe irritated skin by applying warm
petroleum jelly.

hello,
You should pluck them right out of the shower because your pores are open then so the hairs come out easier. I personally dont like the ice cube method, i dont think it does anything but make your eyes really cold. You can also try tree tea oil, that's supposed to help the pain. Also to soothe the pain after put some aloe on there and dust a bit of powder on there to mask the redness. Over time you will get used to plucking. If you have alot to pluck get them waxed every 6 weeks or something like that. Hope this helps you.

Just after you shower is the best time to pluck.
Apply Neosporin w/ Pain Reliever and leave on for about 15 minutes while you dry off, etc. It will help soothe and numb the area before plucking.
Gently wipe off the Noesporin with a dry cloth and then pluck your eyebrows in the direction they grow.
Once you pluck, if you hit one that feels like it was attached to a nerve, gently apply pressure with your finger.

Putting ice is much better. It numbs the area and so it will be less painful. Taking a hot shower before is not a good idea because your pores are open, and then you pluck your eyebrows, and the pores around your eyebrow line look bigger and it looks really weird. Try the ice, it really works and it helps with the redness. Hope this helps!

Pluck the eyebrow in the direction it is growing. Also rub the area with some cream or something. I highly recommend waxing them! The pain lasts like 15 secs. or so.

I think the best is to apply ice on the eyebrow and leave it for a while. After 5 minutes you can start plucking your eyebrows.

Hurry up and do it so the pain is just really quick and right after, rub some Johnson's Baby Oil where you plucked and that will reduce the redness and ease the pain. :]

You could use mouth numbing pain reliever! If anyone has braces that you know, ask for a small tube =]
Also, you could firmly press with a finger near where you're going to pluck, it will relieve the pain!
