i know you can with pictures but what about music and videos?

Yes you can. You can download videso formatted for PSP on http://www.guba.com . You may have to go the Free section and then do a search. Then you should see the PSP icon next to the videos in PSP format. You may want to check the site on your PC first to get a better idea of where to look. Then you can do it straight from your PSP.
