Unfortunately yes. I don't find it hard to spend it though.

Yes. I often find it hard to justify saving money because if I was to walk outside tomorrow and get smashed by a Greyhound bus, then all that saving would have been for nothing. I prefer to live in the now and spend my money and enjoy myself.

Yes it,s very hard for us to save any money, we have 12 dogs and 8 cats and 125 chickens, and most of the money goes for feed.

I used to, but not anymore.

I got myself a bank account at an online bank and started putting away money with automatic bank withdrawals. I don't even notice the money going away. I've been able to take two vacations and still have money left over with what I've saved.

The experts always say "pay yourself first" and I never thought it would work but it totally does.

no, once someone starts to save, it becomes an addiction just like spending becomes one. the more n more you see add up in savings, the more n more you want to add to it.

cutting up all credit cards and having only a loan for a home or car saves a BUNDLE. just figure up what the % is on a 30 yr home loan for say just a 100,000 home and you will never want to sign for a loan.

not at all. as long as i'm making money i have no problem saving some in case of an emergency or if i want to buy something. Begin by buying what you need and not what you want even if its on sale. when you buy something honestly asked yourself if you will really wear or use it and for what occassion.

I did until I started up three diffrent bank accounts. One is for spending money, one is for rent and stuff and the other one is for savings, I get paid weekly and one check for spending, two for rent and one for savings. It is a whole lot easier now.

No but I've had several years to practice and the thought of getting old and only living on social security and a pension is scary. A very bad nightmare.

Somewhat. I save a bit every month, but not enough for anything big. But then, I spend quite a bit, too!
