It seems that the Enviromentist want the world to look like the commies do except greener. They could care less about rights or ownership as long as they get to decide who obeys the laws and who can buy "carbon offsets".

Words like "commies" and "environmentalists" seem so harsh when thrown on the page. The theories behind these names are good for the earth and its inhabitants. The problems arise when there is no respect for personal needs and private property.
no one person has the right to force another to comply with their wishes. Laws are meant to ease the tension and protect the innocent.
In a world full of aggression, it is easier to protect wilderness than to tell humans that they will become extinct if they pollute their own lands.
Education is the only tool an individual has to protect himself against radical thought or manipulation. The internet is still full of good sources on cause and effect of climate change, let's arm ourselves with solid knowledge to avoid mistakes.

The commies wanted the planet to look grey. Have you ever been to a former communist block country and seen the high rise apartment buildings there? They are grey. Anything official is Grey. Environmentalists want to keep the planet Green just like it should be for a healthy living ecosystem. Apparently you don't understand the difference between Green being healthy and Grey being sickly. Rampant corporate capitalism is making everything grey too. Ever heard the term "pave paradise and put up a parking lot", it's the same order as communism. It greys out everything and suck the life out of it.

I suppose that since every square inch of the planets atmosphere hasn't warmed up, you will need further convincing that Global Warming is a reality.

Before I continue, it is a condition of understanding that you throw away the drinking straw you are looking through, open both eyes, and zip your lips.

A. Global Warming occurs by itself.

B. Industrialization contributes to Global Warming.

C. Ocean levels ARE rising.

D. Polar ice is melting.

E. We need to do something about it.

You hit the nail right on the head there. And the looney left is all about propaganda, revisionism, and misinformation. This is how the indoctrinate those incapable of thinking for themselves. They also promote drug use. Why do you think that colleges are so full of whack-jobs now? However, none of them mess with me after a scowl and yelling at them. When I get angry this happens and the commies back down. Why? They are cowards and are dangerously insane.

Right.....Here's what the board of Exxon-Mobil has to say. We all know these folks at Exxon-Mobil are all communists, don't we?

"ecause the risks to society and ecosystems could prove to be significant, it is prudent now to develop and implement strategies that address the risks, keeping in mind the central importance of energy to the economies of the world. This includes putting policies in place that start us on a path to reduce emissions, while understanding the context of managing carbon emissions among other important world priorities, such as economic development, poverty eradication and public health. I don't know, but those carbon offsets are a crock o'shiite. It's a way to pollute all you want then buy a "get out of guilt free" card.

It's absolution for atheists

no, i think being addicted to oil is ruining out way of life. why do republicans always support america sending our money to saudi arabia and iran? why do they want us to stay addicted to oil at the cost of billions of dollars for our military to fight over these hellish countries? it doesn't make any sense.

i don't see what's so hard about this. lets build technologies that keep us from having to be slaves to the middle east. can't everybody agree on that?
