I am asking some maths questions on behalf of my little sister who is 13 this year.

1)Create An Application Problem whos answer can be simplified to 7x.
2)The total length of 4 roads is (3x-1)km.What are the possible lengths of the four roads in kilometres?
3)The perimeter of a rectangle is (6x+5) cm.Suggest two possible dimensions of the rectangle.
4)Describe a real-life situation that can be represented by the expression c+5(n-3),
5)Design a number trick such that the final result is always 7.
6)Some short-cuts in Arithmetic make use of the distributive law.For example,
37 x(times) 99=37 x(times) (100-1)
=3700-37
=3663
Devise another two such short-cuts.
Please answer even if you just know 1!!!

John had twice as many marbles as Bill. Jack had twice as many marbles as John. If Bill had x marbles, how many marbles did the three boys have together?
Let one road be x/4 km
Let next road be 3x/4 km
Let next road be x km
Let 4th road be x-1 km
This adds up to 3x-1
x by 2x+2.5 or 2x by x + 2.5
c+5(n-3) <-- Sorry, don't see this one.
Think of a number --> (x)
add 3 --> (x+3)
Multiply by 2 --> 2x+6
add 8 --> 2x +14
Divide by 2 --> x+7
Subtract the number you thought of --> 7
50*51 = 50(50+1)= 2500+50 = 2550
999*87 = (1000-1)87=87,000-87 = 86,913

2.) so the 1st + 2nd + 3rd + 4th = 3x - 1, if x = 1, 2, 3....
the posibility of the total length are 2km, 5km, 8km, 11km ....
6.) 37 X 99 = 37 X (100 - 1)
1st short cut, 1221 X 3 = 10989 ÷ 3
2nd short cut, 3600 + 36 = 3627 - 36

even as that's in parenthesis it contains both the "-" and the "2". so that you've: (-2)^4 = -2 x -2 x -2 x -2 = 16 (because 2 negatives become a good even as it isn't in parenthesis it in simple terms contains the volume raised to the means of four so that you've -2^4 = -a million x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 = -a million x 16 keep in mind that the -2 is concept as -a million x 2 because something situations a million is itself

3) l= 3x w=2.5 or l= 3, w= .5x + 2.5
