Does anyone beleive Elvis really died when he "died"?!!?

Just a thought...some people believe he faked his own death and went to a uncharted island!! I dont know what to beleive!! What do you think happened to the king?!

i think there are alot of facts to prove elvis is alive.. i would love to think that he was because im the biggest fan! haha well maybe not the biggest but lets face it he was on a path to destruction.. so we have been told, which could also be a cover up.. i did a essay not long ago about the conspirsy of it all.. The only thing that really got me was the man "Orion" not long after elvis passed a man Orion came along and sounded and looked alot like elvis.. and aprently half way through some of his shows he would come out with no sweat or anything which some suggest was Elvis. then he sort of just dissapeared i couldnt find any where where it said he passed or anything.. and apprently he was pretty big.. but i searched Orion on Yahoo! and couldnt really find alot of information.. but once again its just another therory but when people we admire die do we really think they are dead? or does a little piece of us still hang on in hope maybe they faked it? so i think every one has their own opinions and beliefs maybe just do your own research and decide for yourself! good luck!

i imagine i became at school then, notwithstanding it wasn't an earth shattering adventure because I wasn't a large fan. i comprehend a few those who had the full velvet artwork on the wall were extremely disillusioned, yet surely i became kind of previous due for the full "Elvis fan" difficulty that some human beings grew up with. I think there COULD be the possibility Elvis may've "checked out" of the depressive whirlpool trap created by his uncontrolable fame by the carefully orchestrated "death" on that August 1977 day. And it doesn't take a hard look into his life, espicially when you walk around inside Graceland, to figure out WHY he MAY have faked his death.

Frankly, I'm amazed he held onto his fame as long as he did; Elvis simply couldn't handle his fame. Elvis was just some kid born in Tupelo who was given God's gift of song--nothing more. His inability to freely move abouts truly got to him; his fame was his prison....and he sought freedom.

Logically, assuming for a second Elvis IS in fact--alive: He'd be in his mid-70s by now--way too out of shape to appear in public or even perform as we knew of him way back when.

However, it very well could have been Elvis DID die from the mix of drugs / alcohol (something I call REAL DNA ).

Either scenario, Elvis sought freedom and peace from a world that wasn't his to bear; evidently, he's quite comfy now with his current life---why stand in his way? Let Elvis be in peace, either in life (somewhere) or in death.

I think he really died. He was drinking so heavily and doing so many drugs it was just a matter of time. It's a shame, Elvis was a great artist.

No I think he passed out in the bathroom of his house and died soon after or on the way to the hospital. Chris Farley was similar, he OD'ed and passed out, and never woke up.

I think he's dead. I don't think he would have put his daughter through all that just to "get away". But its nice to dream.
