There is always the risk of horizontal gene transfer. Transgenic DNA is optimized for for horizontal gene transfer, It is designed to cross species barriers and to jump into genomes, and it has homologies to the DNA of many species and their genetic parasites (plasmids, transposons and viruses), thereby enhancing recombination with all of them. Transgenic constructs contain new combinations of genes that have never existed, and they also amplify gene products that have never been part of our food chain. So what you're basically risking is:
(1)The antibiotic resistant gene you used as a marker while trying to creating GM tomatoes gets taken up by pathogenic bacteria, making them all the more deadly and difficult to treat
(2)Transgenic DNA could be taken up by a virus and undergo mutation that would radicallly alter its makeup, possibly making it more virulent and deadly.

Not only are there no known negative impacts on human health, there aren't even any theoretical negative impacts.
GM foods are as safe as safe can be. Typically, they're even safer than non-GM foods since many are engineered to be resistant to common pathogens that otherwise necesitate exposure to dangerous pesticides.
Only uniformed, ignorant people think that GM foods could possibly pose any danger to human health. It's beyond ridiculous. It's analogous to insisting that the Earth is flat. Don't embarrass yourself. Change the topic of your paper...

" Did not prove that GM foods do not have a negative effect ". That is your problem; trying to prove negatives. Scientists do not " prove " things, but amass evidence to support there position. You are having difficulties because there is no evidence that GM foods are doing any harm; at least none that I am familiar with.

The issue isn't with the GM foods, it's with what they're are genetically modified for.
In the case of soybeans- the GM soybeans are 'roundup ready'. That means that you can spray Roundup right on the soy plant and it will live, while the weeds around it all get killed.
So you're eating an herbicide. It's not the soybean that's the problem- it's what the GM soybean allows the farmers to do.
Does that make sense?

As yet I have not heard any rublings of provable claims about GM foods.
As for *c*iting the facts, I wish I could...
However, as a personal preference, next time I bite into a Beefsteak Tomato, I'd prefer it not moo at me. (ie: where GM is concerned, I prefer that animal DNA not be used in consumed plants.)
Fun fact: DNA is NOT broken down in the stomach. The acid is not strong enough...too dilute.

There is no negative effects, but it lacks the natural taste. Now most of the cereals etc, you are consuming are GM foods. Have you encountered any negative effect.

So far, none. And why would they? DNA gets digested in your stomach into its constituent As, Ts, Cs and Gs.
