I can't even explain how this happened because I don't know. But I went to bed and the next day my eyelashes look as if someone cut them in half. In fact, less than half. I have no clue how this happened and it is impossible to have been a prank from a friend. I don't know if it was an eyelash curler or not. But I look like an idiot. I am a very vain girl as it is, and not having eyelashes makes me look like a moron. I can't even attempt false eyelashes because they are too short to adhere to my real lashes. I can't wear any eye make up at all without looking silly. If this has happened to anyone, please tell me what to do or what to expect. If you have cut your lashes intentionally or unintentionally, I want to know what you did. I am so angry about it. I know eyelashes grow, but when another one falls out. They didn't fall out- they were chopped in half. So I don't think they will fully grow back until they fall out. Help? Thanks

It probably was an eyelash curler, i know this sounds weird but i once picked my eyelashes out when i was little and they took about a year to grow back. Try extra long volumizing mascara in the meantime, it doesn't completly fix it but it makes it look less noticable

My eyelashes on my left eye looks like they have been cut in half, and no, I do not wear at all. In fact, I am truck driver and don't have time for all girly stuff, but really, how the heck did this happen?

You or someone else must have done it, they don't break in half by themselves. Sometimes using a badly designed lash curler will do it. Yes they will grow out in several weeks. Until then, try using an eye pencil around the rim of your eye in a natural color such as dark brown, and smudge it a little so it's not a hard line. Most people won't be interested enough to notice.

Strange phenomenon. Eyelashes have a 28-day lifespan. So your many eyelashes are all different ages. They will be back to normal in 3 to 4 months.

Damn girl that's a crazy story. Prolly wont take too long, i would say 3 months max. Go to the drug store, and ask the pharmacist for hair nail skin or whatever vitamins. That should make them grow faster. Damn...that's a crazy story...where you drunk? HA I remember this one time when i was little i woke my mom up in the middle of the night before we were suppose to go shopping the next day and she was already mad and yelling at me and she went to light a cigarette and burned all her lashes off......(calling mom).......NO ANSWER! What a *****...she woulda prolly had better advice.

Normally they grow back, and it normally takes about a week to two weeks(my friend thought cutting off her eyelashes would make them curlier...) Tl then try discreet fake eyelashes :) good luck

my cousin had her eyelashes chopped because she didn't realize the sponge came off so she didn't really do anything. They grew back
