The Grand Canyon still has the Colorado River running threw it.
The Grand Canyon was cut from the Colorado River water force called "down cutting"
The only thing the global warming would probably have as an effect on the river is increases or decreasing the amount of down cutting ability the river has. This would be do to more water in or less water in the trough area of the river.
But, you are correct the world's oceans have slowly been increasing thus taking away shore and coastal areas. At some point many cities and or populated areas will be inundated by water and people will have to relocate.

I've got some bad news for you; global warming has already made the Grand Canyon a river. The first time I hiked the Grand Canyon was in 1974 and Global Warming had already done its dirty work. Not only that, I was referred to a source by John Wesley Powell who reports that Global Warming had already made the Grand Canyon a river back in the 19th century. We've got to stop burning fossil fuels! (Sob, sob, sob)

There is an absolutely 0% chance of global warming affecting anything but the sanity (?) of liberals and Al Gores bank account.
ZERO PERCENT! The Colorado River still runs as it always has and probably always will. It never did 'fill' the Grand Canyon. Your fears are unfounded. Life is safe and you won't die from anything close to "global warming".

It is still flowing ,but it could increase dramatically. I believe it could rise greatly and endanger many people in the tribes who inhabit the canyon, but I doubt it would threaten many cities ... unless we don't do anything about global warming.
Who knows? We'll see!

It would be cool to have a river come back to life from a million years ago.
