My Mother in law did this...it was cruel.....she did it with gifts too...well how about you????

Oh, OK, I got it, you meant "honor"! Well, since my mother-in-law has hated me since the first time she ever even saw me, I haven't had the pleasure of receiving any "gifts" from her, but she badmouths me to everyone from my kids to her neighbors. And she's never even said more than a few words to me or vice versa, so how does she know what I'm like? My husband and I have been married 19 years, and at my grandson's first birthday party, she greeted me and hugged me (shock!!!). I'm still waiting for the trap to spring...
As for the dinner, it'd have to be fish. I cannot abide with the smell of fish! Ugghhh!

I really get chapped when folks poke fun or comment on my dislike of seafood--as if I'm "freaky" for not acquiring a taste for the stuff. Ironically, I was born/raised in Louisiana, of all places!!
The gifts, depending how nice they are, might soothe my feelings--especially if they're $$$$ gifts.

I cant stand liquid yellow, white, or green food, they insist on cooking Italian dishes with all those weird sauces.
