The war has hardly started, I'm sorry to say. It will be over within 10-20 years. It will become much more intense and pervasive before that happens.
The reason is, that the US and the West are not the source of the conflict; they are only responding. The source is the growing Islamist fanaticism.
And, just as in WWII, it looks like the Jews will be their most hated target. But again, Jews will survive.

The war will stop when everyone with major interest in the war has had it's fill. In other words, when the rich get more money in there pockets.

When we can come up with a yellow ribbon in finding our way back home to our creator in planet of apes.

We have the Liberation of Freedom from world war two for the good of mankind in planet of apes.
We have the Promised Land in hands
We have the missing x-files with the missing key in hand too.
It's only Luke 2,32 left for us to solve the mess on what went wrong out there in planet of apes.
