I am just wondering... I am in high school and I am a 38C; attention is always drawn to my chest. I am actually 38"/27"/40" (5'5") and I feel huge around kids my age because they are all so skinny...

All because my hips are wide does not mean that I am overweight. There was a thin model who weigh 115lbs and she had 39" hips. Weight has nothing to do with hip size unless you're an apple o.O

You're big but don't sweat it - those assets will get you a lot of things that others will miss out on. Play em up and don't be embarrassed by them.

well, the 38 is big, but the C is average. It is all relative too - someone that is a 42C looks less 'full' in the cup than someone that is a 32C. Your measurements are generous which is why you likely feel the way you do around your friends. I know when I was in high school, I was a 32B with a 23" waist and 32" hips - so I wasn't a straight stick, but I wasn't as volumptuous as you are either (now I'm more so than you - thanks to 4 pregnancies/2 living children). Remember that the number is how big around your torso is. the letter is the volume of the breast itself. So, someone that is a 32C looks WAY bigger as far as volume goes than someone that is 38C. The volume is the same, but it's like putting grapefruit on a hippo versus a snake, kwim? ETA: and no, i'm not calling you a hippo by any means. Just an analogy. :)

I hope that makes sense. :)

The average cup size in America is about 36C. 38 is the number of inches around your chest, and C means it's about 3 inches above that,so you're a little big but not freakish. If you have 40" hips, you might be a few pounds overweight, but perhaps not. You should check out a website to see: http://apps.nccd.cdc.gov/dnpabmi/Calculator.aspx. The other kids are skinny now, but trust me, they'll gain weight. You should concentrate on eating good foods, exercising 30-60 minutes a day, and not worrying about what other people think.

You are proportional but for high school, you are just more "developed" than most of the girls your age. Don't feel bad about having a nice figure because you do, the rest of the girls look like boys compared to you that's all-- hold your head up high and feel good about yourself---because you should!!!

High school is when everyone goes around feeling abnormal. Give it a few more years and you'll wonder why you even cared, there will be girls a lot larger and a lot smaller than you at all times as well as many your own size.

You and they are or will be the size that is genetically determined for you , and in the time that is also genetically determined for you. Further, it's not about size (this is true of most things in this life), but about being happy with who you are.

Comparing yourself to others, for any reason and under any circumstances, is nothing but a recipe for personal unhappiness.

Eh, depends who you're comparing it to.
Nowadays with all the plastic surgery, a 38c isn't that big but only if you're comparing.

You're well endowed, no doubt. Don't worry about it. You just matured quicker than the rest of them.
