everyone is overweight- either overweight or anorexic.
all anyone pays attention to is celebrities. Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan.
people get shot
the government doesnt know how to manange its money (or anything else for that matter)
theres some pretty cool music [[but good music to my ears comes mainly from Canada, Britain, and Asia]]
people are conceited
all people care about is appearance, fashion, money, trend.
focus is lost on unimportant things, and no one cares anymore.
there is absolutely no cultural value here.
people are amazingly stereotypical, bigoted, and judgemental.
everyone strives to meet "the american dream" of absolute perfection.
everyone is eith er a drug addict or an alcoholic and they all have excuses that really dont apply at all.
our justice system also sucks, but its great compared to some other countries.
now if only i knew anything about china...

We have sarcasm here and we have rude people here. We welcome new people and then we treat them as second class citizens. We vote for the people who we think will do the best for us in general and we end up worse off than before. We add more words to the language than any other, like "Chads". We say that we are the home of the brave yet most of us are really just chicken sh*t. We cheat on our taxes and wonder why there is not enough money to go around.
I could go on and on but I don't want to spoil the surprise when and if you venture out of your safe home there in China.

Are you moving there? What part of China do you live in? Do you even live in China.
I used to live in Shanghai. A lot of differences. C'ept I lived in a compound in the suburbs in Thmopson Villa.
Really, you should be more specific, don't know where you live or what you want to know.
Part of what Poison said was true and some was not. Not everything here is BAD. I love China way more though.....

As in most countries on planet 'earth' many are by choice stupid and ignorant. You have to remember that it's not about america as such, but about your own interests in life that make you what you are. Sure it is always good to learn of other cultures, but ideally everyone should by right and by living, have access to everywhere anyone wants to travel- it is always the governments that attempt control of the rest of us. and now you know...

we have a very diversified culture. We get a lot of speeding tickets. We have more babies born during wartime than any other time. We import (ship on a boat from you to us) lots of things from your country. A lot of us are very vulgar and self-centered. But, a lot of us do a lot of wonderful things for may needy people. Oh and we have more cars than we have liscenced drivers to drive them!

everything is "NEW" in the US compared to other parts of the world.
Something new would be, the language. The language is always changing. So be flexible.
