I heard that Regis Philbin is going to retire from "Live" and Howie Mandell is going to take his place co-hosting with Kelly Ripa. Can anyone confirm this?

I haven't heard anything about retiring, I heard he said he'd be back when he felt like it. Don't retire Regis!
