I'm originally from Kansas.
The state is overly conservative.
People in some areas (rural/small town) are rather slow. (Rednecks and goat ropers, we used to call them.)
Tornadoes.
Lack of trees in many regions.

The only thing I hate is the farm and wizard of oz jokes.
I have lived in Kansas my entire life and have never milked a cow.
Actually Kansas is great. Compared to the rest of the U.S. - gas, homes, and utilities are a lot cheaper. We are central located so we can travel to more places in less time. We don't have an accent which makes people think we do have one and for the most part its one of the safest states to live in.
