For some reason, probably because I was raised to be christian, I was always told that bars are awful places to meet your spouse.

I wasn't looking, but I did meet my partner a bar, but I tell my family and aquaintances that we met at church. I just can't be bothered to deal with the hopelessness of christianity. So, honestly did you meet your partner at a bar or club and what do you tell people?

Why would he go to bars to pick up women when he has a woman he loves? It wasn't even like we met and went home together the same night!

Why would I want him to change?

Oh, I'm not Christian and I don't think that lying is always wrong.

If you met your partner in a bar, you met a bar person. Don't expect him to change and don't be surprised when he goes to bars and picks up women. After all he did that with you.
