the computer could be gone bad,the coil pack is bad, or control module, or just out of gas.

This could be anything. You have to run a complete diagnosis on the truck starting with a scan of the computer for codes and for data. If it is recognizing that the motor is being cranked and the data looks fairly normal, all this is okay. Next check for spark outputs to each and every cylinder, they all should be strong and consistent. Then check for fuel pressure at the pressure tap on the fuel injector rail. These need about 55psi to run and should build up to around 65psi when primed. If no pressure, you will have to check the entire circuit for a problem back to the fuel tank. If all is good and the filter is not plugged solid which they usually aren't , you will need to remove the tank and replace the pump or the entire sender assemble depending on what is wrong with it. Good luck.

There are dozens of reasons why it wont start. You need to start diagnosing the issue.
Are you on top of routine maintenance? If you havent changed the oil for the entire time youve owned the car, more then likely thats gonna be the problem. But if your on top of maintenance:
Start with timing belt/chain. Pull the timing belt cover off and see if the belt/chain is broken... I dont know what engine you have in your car, so its going to be hard finding a picture for it.
Next, check for spark. Pull out a spark plug wire and look into the boot while someon tries to start the car... if you dont see a spark, theres your problem. Do it for every spark plug.
Next, fuel: Do you have fuel? Do you have fuel going to the injectors? Find the injectors and look for a rail connecting them.. there is a bicycle tire valve looking thing on the end... press in the metal pin and see if gas shoots out... if it does, then you dont have a problem with fuel/pressure/filter/pump etc.
So do those things first, and if it still doesnt start, ask another question and be sure to include what youve done to try to solve the problem.

Its nothing to do with the battery or alt, If its turning over, battery is fine you can check on the fuel injector rail for a schrader valve it looks like a valve stem where you put air in your tires. you can take the cap off and push the pin down and fuel should squirt out if not you prob have a bad fuel pump another way to try is have someone turn the vehicle over while you take a hammer and tap on the fuel tank if it starts you know you have a bad fuel pump...

i own a shop ,and its possible it has a bad control module on it this is what gives it its fire to run on,also it can be a fuel filter stopped up on it or the fuel pump relay could be going out on it,it sounds like a fuel related problem though because you said it tried to start when you pumped the gas on it,so it could be a bad filter or pump, you,ll have to get it checked out though ,there's too may things it can be and i would buy any parts just because someone says to,have it checked first to be sure, its cheaper that way, good luck with it ,hope this helps.

HI, DID YOU GET THE BATTERY CHECKED? AND WHEN YOU GET THE BATTERY CHECKED AT AN AUTO PLACE HAVE THEM CHECK THE ALTERNATOR TOO. CHANCES ARE IT COULD BE THE ALTERNATOR OR EVEN THE STARTER BUT GET THOSE TWO CHECKED FIRST THEN GET THE STARTER CHECK OUT TOO. GOOD LUCK BEEN THERE AND DONE THAT.
