One armed push ups, at the same quanity as regular pushups. That's basically what coming off a snap basically is. Since your balance would be different that you other excersizes, you will probably be strengthing a new muscle group. Your other excersizes don't account for the weight distribution when you are balancing yourself on one hand.

There is a type of two handed pushup where you push yourself up far enough to where you can clap and then put your hands back down in the proper position before you fall on your face.

A 4.9 in a 40 yard dash for a Nose Tackle??? Son, you are a beast! All kidding aside. I played Nose in high school and what made me better coming off the snap is the fact that I would coil up like a snake on the line of scrimmage to the point where I would shoot out like a cannon at the snap of the ball. And the more double teams you get is a good sign of you becoming a better player since it will open up the gaps for your linebackers to feast.

Remember to put both hands down on the line of scrimmage if you try the coiling method. And stay low.. low to the earth and aim for the knees. I played dirty.

As a nose tackle, being slow on snap is not a big of a deal... As a nose tackle, the thing you want to do is not a sack or a tackle but hold the linemen so the linebackers can get in... But if you really do want to get better (Cuz you are very good on stats) learn how to do better rip moves and swim moves (Key of doing d line)

do agility drills, your coaches should be able to help you on that, and gain as much weight as possible. in a 3-4 scheme the nose tackle has to take up space and take on double teams every play to give the LBs room to make a play
