I'm too smart to join the army.

No, I think I'm too old for the Army. I wanted to enlist in the Air Force when I got out of high school. I got married to an Army guy instead.

I was. Army National Guard < Los al. Ca. > Military Police. It's a rush. I enjoyed the navy more. Went to various parts of the world. The Army you are more or less a ground pounder.

If I wanted to, I could be in the army by next year. But it's not my thing. I plan to serve my country in other ways.

I retired from the police department, and feel like I did something to serve my country. but... I would join up if I was 18 now, there was just no action so I became a cop rather than go in the military.

No way. My friends husband just got home from Iraq, he missed the first year of his sons life. You can't get that back. As much as I respect the men and women that fight for our country, I could never do it.

No. Although I ultimately respect our army, it's not something I can participate in. I just couldn't do it.

ive just left the army
15 years service was enough
canada,northern ireland,beleze,cyprus,falkland islands,afghanistan,iraq,yugoslavia,germany
been there,seen it and done it
but join the army
great pay off
