I'm not sure where you got that "650,000" number, but it's wrong.

America has ACCIDENTALLY killed less than 3,000 Iraqi's during this entire conflict! yet you Anti-Americans, Fascisists, Communists, and Nazi's have blamed EVRYTHING ON America---9/11 included!!!!!!!!!!!!!..

Anyway, Whatever, LESS THAN 100,000 people have been killed - sure thats A LOT - but its only 1/6 of what our critics say....

I HATE LIERS!!!! MAKES ME SICK!!!!

And CNN has delivered reliable news since when? Just an FYI, the methodology used by the study referenced in the CNN report consisted of; a random poll of 1849 homes in Iraq- figures were then extrapolated from that poll of 1849 homes, in which they 'determined' that as many as 900,000 civilians were killed. The 650,000 figure is just some arbitrary number that they decided to throw out there. I suppose that if a large percentage of houses polled were in the most volatile area of Bagdad or Anbar Province, they may have gotten a high enough number to be able justify their figures. However, the death rate in the areas of fiercest fighting is hardly indicative of the death rate throughout the country. Give me a break, they think their figures can be in the least bit accurate in consideration to the events in Iraq with less than 1/1000 of a percent sample. A more realistic figure according to IBC based on eyewitness accounts and on line counts, puts the number at as much as 66,757 casualties or roughly a tenth of the CNN estimate. 66K is still way too many deaths but give me a break. I guess CNN's decided that since the surge seems to be working, they must find another way to show just how bad they think this war is- regardless of the facts.....
-- I have included a link for the report used by CNN to 'determine' the death rate in Iraq, though it should be noted that of 629 (and yes, this is the number used to determine over 600k deaths) deaths listed in the survey, the surveyors 'forgot' to get 13% of the death certificates

thats where you go wrong for starters what if you were one of those inocent people .
how are people that want the truth about 9/11 to get out america haters ?? what sort of retarded logic is that these people want there country back and the people behind it brought to justice , the point is 9/11 truth is now becoming mainstream more and more people are taking the time to look into it .
many ex high up military have come out and said it was an inside job , congressmen , aviation experts , demolitions experts ,metologists ,physisists its endless .
there were reasons for 9/11 and there are consequences so i suggest you use your own brain stop being a o'reilly zombie and look into it even if to disprove because 9/11 is a tiny piece of the big picture , stop being a zombie and wake up before the grid goes in .

THE number of deaths in Iraq since the start of the conflict could be as high as one million.....

Notice the part about "since the start of the conflict"... In other words, if we hadn't attacked, there would be a million people alive that are now dead.

There have also been as many as two million Iraqi's leave the country.

This is not anti-American, Communist, or Fascist. It is a fact. whether you like it or not.

Even if you don't like the one million number, the 650,000 is accurate. The survey questioned 12,800 people in 47 randomly chosen areas across 16 of Iraq’s provinces.

Those questioned were asked how many of their relatives had been killed since 2003. All deaths were confirmed by death certificates. The number was then used to estimate the amount of “excess deaths” across Iraq.

The problem is that for every fact you find about 100,000 there are reliable sources that will state the number at a half million. The thing you can't do is assume that one is right and the others aren't just because it works for you.

Even if it is only 100,000 and most were killed by terrorists, OUR occupation there is what caused so many people to convert to being insurgents.

If you wish to communicate with me, rather than merely scream you opinion in the hope that I will agree, first let me know your source, and then justify it's methodology.
The figures that come out of Iraq, independantly verified by numbers of observers, put the numbers of dead, mostly civilians who had no identifiable connectiion to terrorist, insurgent or other armed combatants, at in excess of 600,000.
A responder above me has given good sources that suggest 650,00 dead. Where do you get your "less than 100,000" from, and, if this is a "peace" operation, isn't 100,000 unacceptable anyway?

My god look at the patriot... Too dumb to realise he's being blinded by his own governments propoganda...

The US Government is nothing but a war mongering, fascist, mass murdering, Dictatorship... OPEN YOUR EYES... Your Government lies to you on a daily basis... Why would they tell you the truth? They tell you what they want you to hear so you'll still support them...

If the US had not invaded Iraq, close to 3 quarters of a million people would still be alive today...

Alright, admitedly Sadam was no saint, But I'd rather he was in charge of Iraq, than George Bush in charge of a pencil sharpener! Your president is a monkey...

I think that number would be much lower had we just left Saddam in power, he kept those terrorists down. Why can't we? Seems like we made a mistake, we freed all the terrorists and let them start killing people.
