in the star wars books there are 9 of them right? so are they going to make 3 more movies?

I think there was talk of a 3rd trilogy but from what I read I think ROTJ (Return of the Jedi) was it. Remember balance has finally been restored to the force.

There are seven Star Wars movies. Everybody forgets the Star Wars Holiday Special where we learn the Star Wars theme song has lyrics.
Somebod 20 years from now will want to remake the Star Wars movies.

There are probably more than a hundred star wars books. I myself have read a few dozen. Uncle George was going to have 9 movies, but he changed his mind at the last minute as he is often prone to do. There will be no more star wars movies...at least not until old George is dead. There will be at least one live-action tv show starting in 2008 though.

I had always heard that there was another trilogy after ROTJ, but I seem to remember reading that Lucas was not going to make anymore of the Star Wars movies. There a great series of books by Timothy Zahn that takes place five years after ROTJ.

I believe lucas did have three more ideas, however it would take him another decade to film the next so he decided not to. But who is to say that when he passes his children don't give the ok.
