a part time job helped me and it helps studies. Please make sure your child is home and studying. Studying is first and make sure you know what is going on. Develop a relationship with the employer make sure you can make visits and you do that.

They should be in school all day and shouldn't even think about working yet. The most important thing is school. They will never get anywhere if they don't get an education. They shouldn't have full time jobs until they are able to handle working full time in college or after they graduate college. It wouldn't hurt to start working part time between 16 and 18 years of age as long as they are finishing their studies.

Shouldn't they be in school??? There's no excuse for a 14 or 15 year old to be working full time if they haven't finished school. Besides I think the minimum age is 16 as it should be.

It varies from state to state--
but in general, they can start to work at age 16 with restrictions. Check with your local labor board and it will tell you.

Depends on where you live. In some parts of the world, they are old enough to any kind of job, from pimping to diamond mining.

they should already have 10 years of work experience

get them out there making money

so you can take it easy
