Sometimes I am too cheap to buy books and decide to borrow from the library instead, but sometimes I prefer to buy my own books. This is especially true of nonfiction, because highlighting is actually allowed when you buy your own book. Still, I am unsure which I prefer: borrowing from the library or buying from a bookstore.

What is your preference?

Library. Plus we have a book sale twice a year at our library. I payed a "buck a bag" for some almost brand new books. I got to fill a grocery bag full of books for only a buck. Heck of a deal.

I like library books. This gives you a chance to preview the book or series. Especially reference books or some nonfiction books that are around $50 each.

I would go to the book store for baby books like the pop - up books b/c little kids like to stick their mouths on things.

Both, I only borrow books if I only need them for a little while but if I really want the book I go to the book store and buy it.

bookstore....although I am also too cheap to buy books....but I love the Barnes and Nobles. Sometimes I get something at the Starbucks inside the Barnes and Nobles and just walk around looking at stuff. Sometimes I buy a book or two though. I like having alot of books on my book shelves

If I had money I would go to the book store but since I don't, I go to the library.

If I don't have money, then I go to the library, but I guess I could say that I like both. Especially the bookstore and smelling the books and the frwsh brewed coffee they make there.
